You also made our dual ceremony and the waiting outside for everyone more resonant and purposeful somehow, if that makes any sense. We both felt so happy that day and you are forever a part of that. Thankyou. i will be happy to send you some proper pictures from the big day eventually - hoping to get them sorted in the next couple of weeks- but since ive been back here in jakarta ten days now I didn't want to go another day without saying thank you to you" Shireen - |

#3883 "We hired Mike for our son and daughter in laws wedding celebration on New Year's Eve. From the initial contact to the night of the event, Mike was always easy to contact which meant the evening was really easy to organise. Mike was immaculately turned out and his pipe playing first class. He played a large selection of tunes and to top it all he piped the bride and groom into the main hall which was truly fantastic. Mike stayed on to have photo after photo taken with all the guests. A real gentleman. I would highly recommend Mike to play at any given function. Thanks for making a great night even more special." - |

#2519 "Dear Peter I am the niece of Pte Thomas Rooney recently honoured at the ceremony at Fort Pitt Military Cemetery Chris Barker sent me the video of the ceremony and I would like to thank you for playing. It is wonderful to see my uncle honoured nearly 100 years after his death. My only regret is that his parents and siblings aren't alive to see it. I grew up with stories from my Aunts (my father was only four when he went to war so had limited memories) about their elder brother Tom and how wonderful he was. One of my Aunts had kept all the memorial cards and letters concerning Tom. I think it was a great wrench in their lives when he died. I have been to Fromelles where he was injured and to Fort Pitt School (the hospital he was in) and Fort Pitt Cemetery, so the ceremony was somethi" - piping for the veterans of WW1 |

#2928 "On behalf of the family, I would like to express our gratitude and thanks to you all for the fantastic support at the memorial service yesterday. Your piping was superb and your professionalism exceptional. I can’t tell you the number of good comments I received on both your playing and turnout! Moreover, your generosity of time was very much appreciated by everyone, and made the service special. Thank you once again for a significant contribution on the day. I think Ronald and Mavis would have been extremely happy with your endeavours, just as we were. Very Best Wishes Martin Padley" Martin Padley - Funeral, Alfreton, Derbyshire |
