#3006 "I booked this piper to play the bagpipes at my wife's 65th birthday party and found him to be absolutely excellent. Prior to the event he contacted me to discuss the content of his performance and arrangements for the evening. On the day his playing was beautiful, including superb renditions of Flower of Scotland, Scotland the Brave and Happy Birthday to You! He was immaculately presented in full Scottish attire, kilt, tartan, sporran etc. He has a warm and charming personality and engaged in conversation with the guests, posing for photos etc. All in all his presence and performance took a small birthday party to another level and ensured that the "Birthday Girl" and all her guests enjoyed one of those rare moments in time; an unforgettable evening that will be cherished, treasured and re" Chris Lonnon - Wokingham |

It is wonderful to see my uncle honoured nearly 100 years after his death. My only regret is that his parents and siblings aren't alive to see it. I grew up with stories from my Aunts (my father was only four when he went to war so had limited memories) about their elder brother Tom and how wonderful he was. One of my Aunts had kept all the memorial cards and letters concerning Tom. I think it was a great wrench in their lives when he died. I have been to Fromelles where he was injured and to Fort Pitt School (the hospital he was in) and Fort Pitt Cemetery, so the ceremony was somethi" - piping for the veterans of WW1 |
