It is wonderful to see my uncle honoured nearly 100 years after his death. My only regret is that his parents and siblings aren't alive to see it. I grew up with stories from my Aunts (my father was only four when he went to war so had limited memories) about their elder brother Tom and how wonderful he was. One of my Aunts had kept all the memorial cards and letters concerning Tom. I think it was a great wrench in their lives when he died.
