Highly experienced Aberdeenshire based Highland Piper. Plays all styles of music, not just Scottish
This piper has had a long and successful piping career spanning over 40 years, first learning to play the pipes at the age of ten. Becoming Pipe Major of both the City Of Bradford Pipe Band and subsequently West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service. Since then, piping has taken him all over North America, Europe and the UK both on tours, competing and is currently commuting to Los Angeles to play and compete in The LA Scots PB, one of the premier bands in the USA. His most notable achievements are from the time spent in Northern Ireland playing in Grade 1, with Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band where he won every Major Championship including the World Championship in 2004. Other Northern Ireland Bands include the Royal Ulster Constabulary.
Has throughout his piping career played at Weddings, Funerals, Parties of every kind, Burns Nights and Corporate events. He has appeared on TV, including playing on a New Years’ Eve Show of Emmerdale and Highway with Sir Harry Secombe to commemorate The Bradford City Fire.
Generally No2 dress uniform, but also black tie evening wear and traditional tweed & kilt available

Able to play for as long as necessary, with a range of both popular Scottish music and songs, non Scottish music and can meet client requests for specific tunes and songs.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for your amazing pipe playing on Saturday in Richmond. It was a complete surprise as I had no inkling of anything going on and since I absolutely love the bagpipes, was brilliantly special.
I will definitely recommend you to anyone as a special treat, it made my 50th memorable.
